How is the medication management offering priced? 

• $195 per Initial Session
• $135 per follow-up Session

There is no additional PEPM cost.

Can an employee use insurance for medication management sessions? 

Yes. If an employee has used all sponsored sessions and the prescriber is in-network with their insurance plan, the provider may offer to continue care via insurance.

How are medication management sessions counted against our existing employee session limit? 

Each employee has a single pool of sponsored sessions that can be used flexibly for either talk therapy or medication management, depending on their needs.

Is this management program for employees currently on a medication or is this a network of doctors that are available to prescribe medications?

Both. Employees who are already taking medication can use Tava for ongoing management, while those exploring whether medication could help them can schedule an evaluation with a Tava prescriber.

Is the intent of this program to help employees eventually get off their medications?

The goal is to help employees achieve and maintain optimal mental health. Some individuals may eventually discontinue medication under clinical guidance, while others may benefit from ongoing treatment. Tava’s prescribers tailor recommendations to each person’s needs.

Which prescriptions specifically are eligible for this medication management offering? 

Tava prescribers can prescribe any non-controlled psychiatric medication (such as antidepressants or anti-anxiety medications) when clinically appropriate. Controlled substances—including stimulants and benzodiazepines—are not prescribed through this program.
